    How many students are in a class?

    Our maximum class size is 16 students to ensure you’ll be able to get to know your instructor, and connect with each of you.

    When do programs start?

    Some program are weekly, some are monthly – please contact us to know which programs are you interest in.

    How much does a program cost?

    Cost varies by program. Up-to-date program tuition and fee breakdown appears on the Program Fees  of the website

    Can I apply for more than one program?

    Yes you can. You will be entering into a separate enrolment contract for each program that you enroll for.

    What are the books and supply costs?

    It depends on your choice of programs; the program fees section of the web site list the details.

    When do the programs start?

    We offer continuous intakes. Your admissions officer will be able to provide you with an exact start date as soon as you decide on a program of study.

    Do I need a visa to study in Canada?

    We have short term program that last less than 6 months.
    Most foreign students will need a study permit to study in Canada for a duration of more than 6 months. In addition, students coming from certain countries need a visa or eTA to enter Canada.

    How far in advance should I book my course?

    You should book your course at least 15 – 75 days before the start date, depending on the country you are coming from. When a course lasts longer than 6 months, a study permit is required. In addition, students coming from certain countries need a visa or eTA to enter Canada.

    What are the prerequisites to enroll in Canada College Vancouver?

    The prerequisites required to enroll in a program are Grade 12 or mature student status (over 19). Applicants must successfully complete admissions requirement set program by program and interview along with an entrance assessment if applicable.

    When is the deadline for enrollment?

    We offer rolling start dates for all of our programs, meaning we have intakes of new students on a regular basis. Contact our admissions department to find out the next start date: admissions@ccveducation.com

    Are the programs recognized nationally and internationally?

    The curriculum for our programs is based on provincial core curriculum guidelines.

    How do I pay the tuition fee?

    We accept Debit, Cash, Cheque, or on line payment

    Is the application fee refundable?

    The application fee pays for the evaluation of your application and is not refundable.

    If I have other important thing to do so that I can’t go to school, what can I do?

    Phone 604-620 8088 one day ahead to inform administrators and subject to the program criteria that you are enrolled, there are policies related to long term absence.

    What qualification do your instructors have?

    Our instructors all have a university degree and a TESL (Teaching English as a Second Language) certified. Many of them have Masters Degree. All of them have years of teaching experience , or at least 10 years of experience in the industry.

    How much money should I bring with me?

    This depends on the length of your course. You should consider your expenses for public transportation plus other personal expenses.

    How could I access the college ?

    We are located corner of Burrard and Smithe St. The entrance is on the side – Smithe St. entrance; take the elevator to reach the 3rd Floor. If you have any problem to find the college, you can call 604-620 8088

    Can I bring my laptop and use it at College Canada Vancouver and/or at my host family home?

    Yes. Canada College Vancouver has free wireless internet that students can use to log on to the internet. Host family’s will provide you with their passwords for the wifi when you arrive at your new home if available.

    What is the weather like in Vancouver?

    Vancouver has Canada’s best weather. In the summer it is sunny, and hot but because we are next to the ocean it is never too hot. The temperature is between 20-30 degrees. It really is perfect. Winter is warm and the temperature rarely drops below zero degrees. This season, while warm, is also known as the rainy season but the rain is not heavy it is just a slow constant drizzle. Vancouverites buy an umbrella and enjoy knowing that they won’t have to shovel any snow but minutes away from downtown in the mountains we do get snow for skiing, snowboarding and snowshoeing so it really is the best place to live!

    What is the night-life like in Vancouver?

    The night-life in Vancouver is enjoyable and safe. There are many nightclubs, pubs or bars to meet your need and taste. For those that want to do something other than drinking Vancouver has movie theaters, live music, bowling and a coffee shop on almost every corner.

    Vancouver has a population of approximately 1 million people. It is Canada’s third largest city.

    How good is the public transportation system in Vancouver?

    Vancouver has an excellent public transportation system. It includes a Skytrain, ferry and buses. We always recommend that students buy a Compass Card.

    What is the age of Majority in Canada?

    In Canada, the age of majority is determined by each province and territory. In BC the age of majority is 19.
